considered the financial capital of the country. However, the condition of malnutrition is
fearful in this 'developed' state.
The current status of Children’s Nutrition
and the need for CAN Process
According to the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) report the
prevalence of wasted children in the last 10 years has gone up by 21%.
Similar numbers have been put forth by various other reports as well.
With growing age, a child’s nutritional needs also increase. Since breast milk is no longer enough to meet
the nutritional needs of the infant, complementary foods need to be added to the diet of the child.
Widespread and continuing undernutrition in the state of Maharashtra alongside high economic growth is a glaring and persistent paradox. Almost half of the children in
Maharashtra are stunted, one fifth are severel stunted, and over one-third (36.2%) of women are undernourished.

The fundraiser would support the current Learning Disabilities Association of Western NY programs, a service provider for over 1200 individuals with learning and/or developmental disabilities throughout their life span.
Your donation will provide feminine hygiene products to homeless and low-income women in Chicagoland. We would love your support in providing this basic need, and ensure health and dignity for women in our community.
Existing storage must be segregated from retail space and shelving erected. This will better utilize space and efficiency of volenteer efforts and ultimatly increase monies donated to the Hopice of Medina County.
