Anusandhan is a public trust which is registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, established in 1991 (Registration No: E-13480). We are also registered under the Foreign Contributions Regulation Act, 1976 and having its registered office at Sai Ashray, Aaram Society Road, Vakola, Santacruz East, Mumbai – 55. Anusandhan Trust runs two centres presently namely: CEHAT (Centre for Enquiry into Health and Allied Themes, based in Mumbai and SATHI (Support for Advocacy and Training in Health Initiatives) for carrying out the objects of the Trust.
Anusandhan Trust has four founding principles which guide all its activities and the functioning of all its institutions. These include.

Dhruv Mankad (Managing Trustee):

Graduate in medicine.
A leading spokesperson on Primary Health care in Maharashtra. He was Director of VACHAN, a Nashik based NGO, for nine years. Presently he is at VACHAN as its Acting Director.

Dr. Jaya Sagade:

Doctorate in Law; her research areas are women's rights, violence against women, mental health and law; Retired as Vice Principal from ILS Law College, Pune. Currently is Director, Women's Studies Center, ILS Law College.Vice Principal from ILS Law College, Pune. Currently is Director, Women's Studies Center, ILS Law College.

Padma Prakash:

Doctorate in Sociology, Specialistion in sociology of medicine and health, sociology of sports, academic journalist, women's rights and health activist, is Editor/Director, eSocialSciences, an Asia focused repository and publication space, a unit of IRIS Knolwedge Foundation. She was formerly Acting Editor/Associate Editor, Economic and Political Weekly.

Mohan Deshpande:

Graduate in Medicine. Involved for more than two decades in School Health Education and Training of Village Health Workers, grass root activists especially on Health-Communication.

Vibhuti Patel:

Doctorate in Economics. Women's rights, and social activist. Has made important contribution to Women's Studies and gender Economics. Presently, she is a professor at TISS, Mumbai.

Dr. Raghav Rajagopalan:

Graduated in Chemistry and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management from IRMA (1984). His first work phase was in grassroots organisations for a decade, with an exposure to public health, agriculture, dairying, fisheries and allied livelihood sectors. Next, he became a Fellow of Sumedhas Academy, and embarked on a phase of consulting in Human Relations (HR) and Organisational Development (OD). In his third career phase, Raghav built an independent practice in OD consulting and undertook teaching. After successful completion of a doctoral programme in Systems Sciences, he continues consulting, with the application of systems thinking to large scale, complex problems. He is a visiting fellow in Germany.

Padmini Swaminathan:

Doctorate in Economics,her research areas are Industrial Organization, Labour and Employment, Occupational Health, Education and Skill Development - From a Gender perspective. Currently Professor at Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Hyderabad.
